The Big 12 had a decent week of nonconference action highlighted by the Texas Longhorns’ upset win in Tuscaloosa against the Alabama Crimson Tide. The conference was 10-4 overall.
Heading into Week 3, the Big 12’s first conference matchup will feature the TCU Horned Frogs facing off with the Houston Cougars in Houston. In Week 4 every team with the exception of TCU and Houston will face off with a conference foe.
There are several matchups in Week 3 that feature Power Five matchups including the BYU Cougars traveling to Fayetteville for a return game against the Arkansas Razorbacks. The other major game of the weekend will be the “Backyard Brawl” between the Pitt Panthers and West Virginia Mountaineers.
