On Sunday, Pittsburgh Steelers edge T.J. Watt got three sacks against the San Francisco 49ers. This tied him with Steelers legendary outside linebacker James Harrison for No. 1 in franchise history for career sacks with 80.5.
But there’s no hard feeling for Harrison as he prepares to see his record fall. Harrison took to Twitter to congratulate Watt and encourage him to keep going.
Harrison got his 80.5 sacks in 107 career games, His journey to the NFL came via an undrafted free agent and he built himself into one of the best pass rushers in franchise history.
