Among all the rookies the Rams have on their roster this year, none has generated more excitement among fans than Puka Nacua. The first-year receiver out of BYU performed well all offseason and even got the final two preseason games off because the Rams were confident in his ability that quickly.
On Sunday in his NFL debut, Nacua got off to a great start. He caught two passes on the first drive, totaling a team-high 26 yards. His first was a 10-yard gain that helped the Rams convert a manageable third down on the next play.

His second reception was even better, showing his elusiveness after the catch by spinning out of a tackle to set up an eventual touchdown by Kyren Williams.

Nacua is getting the start with Cooper Kupp sidelined and if he continues to play well for the next four weeks, he’ll have a strong case to remain a starter when Kupp returns.
