The Minnesota Vikings are on the board.
A 39-yard connection from quarterback Kirk Cousins to rookie wide receiver Jordan Addison makes for the first touchdown and first points in 2023 for the Minnesota Vikings.
Addison shot up the seam and found space behind the defense as the underneath coverage was more focused on Justin Jefferson’s out route. That left Addison one-on-one with the safety and Cousins laid the ball in stride for him to walk into the endzone.

When Addison was drafted, the hope was the attention that Jefferson would bring would leave for one-on-one situations that Addison could exploit.
This was only the second catch of Addison’s career. You couldn’t ask for a better start.
The touchdown put the Vikings up 7-3 early in the second quarter of Minnesota’s opener against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Kirk Cousins is currently 12-of-15 for 144 yards and that one Addison touchdown.
