The moment when an NFL quarterback gets their first completion is special and one they will never forget. Houston Texans C.J. Stroud will certainly never forget his or who he threw it to. This is because he threw it to himself.
On second down and five, Stroud had his pass batted up in the air by a Baltimore Ravens defender and his first instinct was to run under it and scoop it up to avoid the interception. The play didn’t amount to anything but it will be a core memory for Stroud in his first NFL game.
