Denver Broncos skipper Sean Payton has been an NFL head coach since 2006, when he started with the New Orleans Saints. Payton owns an all-time record of 152-89-0, not including the 2012 season when he was suspended as a part of the Saints’ “BountyGate” scandal.
As a preview for the season, here’s a quick look at Payton’s record against each team on the Broncos’ 2023 schedule. Overall, Payton has a combined 43-28 record against the teams Denver will play against this fall.
Also of note — before joining the Broncos, Payton went 1-3 against Denver. He’ll now aim to help the Broncos get back on track as a playoff contender in 2023.
