Nick Saban and speaking media members always lead to some interesting soundbites. The king of soundbites, however, is the newest ESPN show host, Pat McAfee.
The former NFL punter, who became a podcast host, now is a member of ESPN’s College GameDay crew and has his podcast broadcasted live on ESPN.
Working for the network has opened up a whole host of new opportunities, including having Nick Saban on as a regular guest every Thursday.
Saban appeared on the show today, which is taking place in Tuscaloosa ahead of the Alabama-Texas Week 2 showdown, and McAfee was as excited as can be while announcing it to the world. Saban, however, sat there quietly with a smile on his face.
