Boston’s Jayson Tatum says all the right stuff ahead of the 2023-24 NBA season

Tatum emphasized his commitment to Boston, discussed his growing comfort in a leadership role, and also spoke a bit about his offseason training regimen.

There is seldom much NBA news in the months of August and September, but All-NBA Boston Celtics forward Jayson Tatum threw Celtics fans a massive bone via a wide-ranging interview with The Messenger’s Jeff Goodman this week.

Tatum emphasized his commitment to Boston, discussed his growing comfort in a leadership role and also spoke a bit about his offseason training regimen. Most importantly, Tatum made it clear his ultimate goal is to bring an NBA championship back to Boston in his quest to become a Boston legend as have so many who came before him.

Chris Forsberg, the host of the NBC Sports Boston “Celtics Talk” podcast, linked up with the Goodman author on the other side of that interview.
