Kim Mulkey has reportedly agreed to terms on a 10-year, $32 million contract, pending final approval.

LSU women’s basketball coach [autotag]Kim Mulkey[/autotag] has reportedly agreed to terms that would make her the sport’s highest-paid coach.

According to USA TODAY Sports, Mulkey agreed to a deal worth $36 million over 10 years. She will make $2.75 million in the first year of the agreement with the annual value rising to $3.65 million by the end of it.

LSU still requires final approval from its Board of Supervisors, which will meet Friday. If approved, the deal will be the biggest total contract in women’s college basketball and will also pay out the highest yearly salary by the end of the deal.

Mulkey quickly made LSU’s women’s basketball program elite after she was hired from Baylor, where she won three national titles. She won her fourth this past season in just her second campaign with the Tigers.

With a loaded roster on deck once again, Mulkey’s team could enter the 2023-24 season as the favorite to repeat.
