LSU’s secondary struggled to keep Florida State’s talented receivers in check during the second half of Sunday night’s 45-24 loss in Orlando. But the new-look unit could be getting a boost moving forward.
[autotag]Denver Harris[/autotag], a former five-star who transferred in this offseason from Texas A&M, is available this weekend. Coach [autotag]Brian Kelly[/autotag] confirmed his status on this week’s SEC Coaches Teleconference.
Harris wasn’t listed on the depth chart heading into the opener, and he didn’t play for the Tigers in the loss.
He missed some time during fall camp while dealing with “personal matters” but returned to the team before the end of camp. Harris played sparingly as a true freshman with the Aggies in 2022 and dealt with multiple suspensions.
But he’s a talented player, and if he can find his way on the field, he could help this group of defensive backs moving forward.
