The Seattle Seahawks caught two lucky breaks when they faced the Rams without star wide receiver Cooper Kupp in either game last year, and it looks like this trend will continue for a third-straight meeting. The Super Bowl LVI MVP has been dealing with a hamstring issue, causing him to be day-to-day.
Unfortunately, this injury setback is going to cost Kupp a Week 1 debut for the 2023 season. Rams head coach Sean McVay has officially ruled his star out for Sunday’s game.

Injuries are horrible, and as previously mentioned, I don’t like seeing my former Eastern Washington classmate missing time. When healthy, Kupp has proven himself to easily be the most productive receiver in the league. But I do recognize this is another lucky break for the Seahawks, especially in a secondary that won’t have Jamal Adams and perhaps not even Devon Witherspoon.
