ESPN updates college football power rankings after Week 1

Where does your team rank after the first real week of the season?

You can’t necessarily call it a wild opening long weekend of college football, but it certainly had some wild games.

From Colorado’s shootout win over TCU to start the Prime Time era, to Florida State running LSU off the field, to Clemson ‘Clemsoning’ while Duke took advantage, there were a handful of exciting upsets in Week 1 of the 2023 season.

Meanwhile, Georgia, Michigan, USC and Alabama were among the powers that rolled with no issues. Penn State pulled away from West Virginia and Texas did the same with Rice. Ohio State uncharacteristically struggled with Indiana, but still won by three scores.

So, it was an interesting start to the season. And ESPN has ranked the best of the best accordingly in its newest power rankings. Check them out below.
