Boston Hall of Fame alum Kevin Garnett interviews Thirstin Howl the 3rd

The duo discussed Howl’s name, upbringing, and the influence of New York City on his life.

When it comes to hip hop culture, Hall of Fame Boston Celtics champ Kevin Garnett had his finger on the pulse of it in his playing days and has cultivated an interest in the multi-media art form ever since. In that vein, The Big Ticket recently took some time to interview contemporary hip hop artist Thirstin Howl the Third.

Howl, who also goes by the alternative stage name Vic Low, sat down with KG for a recent episode of the Showtime Basketball “KG Certified” podcast to talk all things hip hop and basketball. The duo discussed Howl’s name, upbringing, and the influence of New York City on his life.

They also reflect on his early days in Far Rockaway, where poverty served as inspiration for his inventive and resourceful nature.
