The word “initial” was thrown around quite a bit on Tuesday when the Tennessee Titans and 31 other teams revealed their 53-man rosters.
That’s because changes are inevitable ahead of the start of the season, and that’s something Tennessee has already seen in the days after cutdown day.
In fact, not only have the Titans made moves on their 53-man roster, they’ve also made a change to the practice squad, which is eligible to have 17 players instead of 16 because of the exemption for tight end Thomas Odukoya. The Titans currently still have one spot open there.
The biggest addition to the team since the initial rosters were released was the signing of edge rusher Trevis Gipson, who makes an already impressive defensive front even better. Tennessee also released offensive lineman Justin Murray before bringing him back on the practice squad.
Now, a look at the Titans’ current 53-man roster and practice squad afterthe recent moves. Players in bold are a new addition since the initial groups were revealed on Tuesday and Wednesday, respectively.
