The 2023 Wisconsin Badgers do not list a fullback on the depth chart. It appears to be the official end to a decades-long era of fantastic fullback play in Madison.
Well, traditional Badger fans still have somewhere to turn. Former Badger fullback Alec Ingold is entering his fifth season in the NFL and just became the highest-paid fullback in the league. He and the Miami Dolphins agreed on a three-year extension worth up to $17.2 million, tying him to the Dolphins through the 2026 season.

The former Badger played all 17 games for the Dolphins last season, recording 105 receiving yards on 15 receptions, one receiving touchdown and five first-down rushes on six attempts.

He is the highest-paid fullback in the NFL after starring at Wisconsin at the position from 2015-2018. His college career included 36 games played and 21 total touchdowns.
Badger fans still can watch fullback play, even if there isn’t one in Madison.
