Anytime you partake in a roster overhaul, especially in the magnitude that Deion Sanders did at Colorado this offseason, there will be some question marks at certain position groups heading into the first season. But one way you can immediately separate yourself from other programs is by playing well in the trenches.
Despite there being several new faces on the offensive line, Coach Prime remains confident in OL coach Bill O’Boyle and his group to get the job done when the Buffs open against TCU this weekend.
In typical fashion, Sanders was very candid when asked about CU’s OL on Tuesday:
Deion Sanders on Colorado's OL: "You protect 2 (QB Shedeur Sanders), give him a clean pocket, there’s gonna be some problems (for the defense)."
Asked how he feels about the OL, he said, "Yeah, I feel good about it."#cubuffs— Brian Howell (@BrianHowell33) August 29, 2023
We’ll find out soon enough just how well the offensive line can hold up on Saturday against the Horned Frogs.
