Michael Jordan has always been a relentless competitor in all aspects of his life, and the game of golf was no exception as Utah Jazz president Danny Ainge can attest.
The onetime Celtics president of basketball operations and player recently appeared on the Players Tribune “Knuckleheads” podcast. Ainge opened up about his experiences playing against Jordan and the Chicago Bulls during the 1986 NBA playoffs and later facing them in the NBA Finals as a member of the Phoenix Suns.
Ainge shared insights into Jordan’s greatness, his effect on the game and the challenges of playing against the Bulls.
