The Josh Jacobs holdout has come to an end.
The running back returned to the Las Vegas Raiders last week after the two sides agreed to a one-year deal worth up to $12 million for the 2023 season.
That means Jacobs now has two weeks to get into football shape ahead of their regular-season opener against the Denver Broncos on Sept. 10.
The Broncos are set to host the Raiders at Empower Field at Mile High in Week 1 and it’s looking like Jacobs will be on track to start that game.
Las Vegas is undefeated (7-0) against Denver with Jacobs in their lineup. The 25-year-old running back has totaled 879 yards from scrimmage and nine touchdowns in those seven games against the Broncos.
Denver is considered a 3-point home favorite against the Raiders in Week 1, according to DraftKings Sportsbook. The AFC West showdown will be regionally televised on select CBS networks (view the Broncos’ full schedule here).
