Browns to release Miller Forristall; familiarity makes him a practice squad candidate

Look for the tight end to return to the practice squad once again.

Tight end Miller Forristall took a slight break from the Cleveland Browns, signing with the New Orleans Saints in free agency. However, after being released by the Saints shortly after, he returned to Cleveland. This makes Forristall a practice squad candidate as he is set to hit waivers again as the Browns release him (according to The OBR’s Brad Stainbrook). This is the second cut of the day as the team has also moved on from cornerback Caleb Biggers.

It has busy day in Berea already as the Browns have now cut two and also made a trade for a new running back in Pierre Strong Jr. There will be plenty more to follow as the team cuts their roster down to 53.
