Tennessee will kick off its 2023 season on Sept. 2 versus Virginia (noon EDT, ABC).
Joey Halzle enters his first season as offensive coordinator after serving as the Vols’ quarterbacks coach from 2021-22.
Halzle met with media on Thursday and discussed Tennessee’s offensive line.
“Feel really good about how the offensive line is looking,” Halzle said. “There are guys that can rotate in and play a bunch of spots, and that’s what’s good about the guys we have is that guys can go in and out. We have guys that can play all three positions. It’s really helpful having that kind of utilization with the guys up front.
“I feel really good about the five guys we are going to roll out there with in a couple of weeks. I feel like we can put a good product on the field with them.”
