The North Carolina Tar Heels are one of 30 programs to offer five-star power forward Koa Peat in the 2025 class. Hubert Davis and his staff identified Peat as a top target early in the 2025 cycle and are involved in his recruitment as it stands here in August.
But on Tuesday, a North Carolina rival got in the mix.
Jon Scheyer and the Duke Blue Devils entered the race for the five-star recruit by officially offering Peat on Tuesday night. Peat took to Twitter to announce the offer from Duke as another Blue Blood has entered the recruitment and it could change a lot of things.
