Brooklyn Nets guard Ben Simmons has been one of the main topics of discussion ever since he rose to stardom while with the Philadelphia 76ers because of his flaws. In what should be considered good news for Simmons and fans of the Nets, the Aussie seems to have another prominent person in his corner.
Mark Jones, well-known NBA commentator who is also the play-by-play voice for the Sacramento Kings, recently posted on his X account that he spoke with Simmons. What Jones had to relay to the public can only be described as positive.
Among other things, Jones said that from his talk with Simmons, he saw that the former Sixer was in “fantastic” shape, to the point that he remarked that Simmons looked “shredded” to drive the point home. Recent reports have said that Simmons has recovered from the nerve impingement in his back that prematurely ended his 2022-23 season in March.
