According to ESPN’s Kevin Seifert, Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Jordan Addison sat out Wednesday’s practice with a mild concussion. Head coach Kevin O’Connell said that the symptoms were mild and they hope to have him back by Monday.
Addison took a fall earlier in the week during practice and started experiencing minor symptoms shortly thereafter. Concussions aren’t something to shrug off and the preseason doesn’t matter much. Take it easy and allow Addison to heal.
Addison has had an excellent training camp thus far, displaying his tremendous route-running ability and separation skills. He would benefit from playing and practicing against the Tennessee Titans, but it isn’t vital for him to be successful as a rookie.
