Former UAB center Trey Jemison, who went undrafted this year, has agreed to sign an Exhibit 10 contract with the New Orleans Pelicans, his agency, One Motive Sports, announced.

Jemison was named to the All-Conference USA third team after averaging 9.1 points, 8.4 rebounds and 1.7 blocks on 58.6% shooting from the field as a fifth-year senior. He was also recognized on the All-CUSA defensive team after setting a single-season program record for rebounds (329).

The 6-foot-11 Jemison played with the Phoenix Suns in the NBA Summer League, averaging eight points and 6.8 rebounds in five games. He had his best game on July 8: 10 points, seven rebounds and two blocks.

Jemison will participate with the Pelicans in training camp and have the opportunity to compete for one of their two open two-way contracts. He can also receive a bonus of up to $75,000 if he is waived and stays with their G League team, the Birmingham Squadron, for at least 60 days.
