LSU already has a bona fide 3×3 superstar on its roster in [autotag]Hailey Van Lith[/autotag], who competed with Team USA this summer. Now, it has a rising star in that event in signee [autotag]Mikaylah Williams[/autotag].
The five-star prospect and No. 1 player in the 2023 recruiting class will compete with Team USA at the FIBA 3×3 U18 World Cup in Debrecen, Hungary, from Aug. 30 to Sept. 3. Williams won a gold medal with Team USA last summer and is the reigning MVP from the last two 3×3 World Cups.
Williams will join an LSU roster this season that is absolutely loaded, but she could make an immediate impact as a true freshman on a team that expects to repeat as national champions after landing two of the top transfers in the country in Van Lith and forward [autotag]Aneesah Morrow[/autotag].
