On Saturday, Aug. 12, Golden State Warriors forward Jonathan Kuminga put on a show at The Crawsover Pro-Am. The third-year forward went off for 60 points, reminding everyone why he was a lottery pick in the 2021 NBA Draft. Kuminga, 20, was making his debut at the popular Pro-Am event and ensured he produced a memorable performance.
Kuminga showed three-level scoring ability throughout the event, racking up points via dunks, jumpers and even draining some 3s — as he kept the defense guessing throughout the event. What will encourage Warriors fans, though, is how reliable Kuminga’s off-the-dribble game looked throughout the contest – even if he will certainly face sterner tests throughout the upcoming season.
Gary Payton II also took part in the event. However, Kuminga’s versatile scoring performance stole the show and continually ensured fans were out of their seats as he displayed a wide-ranging dunk package on the break.
You can watch every basket of Kuminga’s performance in the embedded clip above.
