Ducks Wire joins us to preview 2023 Oregon football season

.@ZacharyCNeel of @Ducks_Wire is a superb Oregon analyst. Listen to his insights on the Ducks. @IanHest produced the show.

The Oregon Ducks could have met the USC Trojans in the 2022 Pac-12 Championship Game, but they fell just short. They blew a big lead to Oregon State in the Civil War game. Had they been able to protect that advantage, they would have faced Lincoln Riley and Caleb Williams in Las Vegas last December.

The painful aspect of that near-miss was felt not just by Oregon — which didn’t get to make the trip to Las Vegas — but also by USC. The Trojans had a much more favorable matchup versus Oregon than they did against Utah, a physical team with the personnel and game plan to make life difficult for the Trojans.

This year, we and our friends and Ducks Wire would love to meet up in Las Vegas, but Utah and Washington — also Oregon State — could stand in the way of that clash.

We do know that USC and Oregon play on November 11 in Eugene. Let’s get to know Oregon a little better with Ducks Wire editor Zachary Neel. Zac joined us to preview the Oregon season and go inside the Ducks’ football roster.
