2K Sports reveals initial rating for Trail Blazers’ Scoot Henderson

Henderson recently discovered his initial rating in NBA 2K24, and was excited to learn that it exceeded his expectations.

Portland Trail Blazers rookie Scoot Henderson this week discovered his initial rating in NBA 2K24, and the third pick was excited to learn it exceeded his expectations.

2K Sports has been busy teasing many of the features in the upcoming game, which is set to be released globally on Sept. 8. The franchise released a first look at No. 1 pick Victor Wembanyama earlier this week and ratings for a few other players.

Henderson joined 2K Sports’ marketing director, Ronnie 2K, on stage at a recent event and was asked to predict his rating. He took a moment to think about it and was hopeful that it would be “at least a 76.”

When he learned his rating was 78, Henderson said: “That ain’t bad!”

Henderson debuted with the Trail Blazers in the NBA Summer League, producing 15 points, six assists, five rebounds and one steal against the Houston Rockets on July 7. However, his stay was cut short because of a shoulder injury suffered in that contest.

The 6-foot-2 guard is expected to play a large role next season and could be counted on, even more, depending on the status of Damian Lillard. For that reason, Henderson was projected to be one of the top point guards in the NBA by HoopsHype.

Given his skill set and potential to log significant minutes, Henderson appears to be poised for a productive rookie campaign. He is hopeful that will have a positive change on, among other things, his NBA 2K rating.
