The calendar has officially flipped over to August and it’s time for more summer basketball camps ahead of the college, high school and NBA seasons here in late 2023. And one camp will feature two Tar Heels as counselors.
At the annual Chris Paul Elite Camp, North Carolina point guard Elliot Cadeau and 2024 commit Drake Powell will be in attendance as counselors, the camp announced. The two were named counselors for the event, being selected with other college and high school players.
The national camp takes place every year in Winston-Salem, North Carolina and 2023 will be the 11th version for the camp put on by the former Wake Forest point guard:

This year’s event will take place from August 25-27 as basketball players from around the country will showcase their skills.
Cadeau is already on North Carolina’s campus, reclassifying from 2024 to 2023 and has opted to join the Tar Heels early. For Powell, he’s a prospect that is on the rise and has really impressed over the past year, earning a fifth star and is a top 10 player in the 2024 cycle.
