DALLAS – The anticipated boxing match between [autotag]Jake Paul[/autotag] and [autotag]Nate Diaz[/autotag] is finally official after both men made weight on Friday.
YouTuber star turned boxer Paul (6-1) will welcome Diaz (0-0) to the ring in his first appearance since parting ways with the UFC in a 10-round bout on Saturday at American Airlines Center. The fight streams via pay-per-view on ESPN+ and DAZN.
With a 185-pound contracted weight for the contest, both fighters needed to use the towel to hit their marks. Paul was first to the scale at 185 pounds, while Diaz followed afterward at 184.9 pounds.
Diaz teammate Chris Avila was the only fighter to miss the mark, weighing in at 170.3 for his 168-pound bout against Jeremy Stephens (167).
