Aug. 10 is shaping up to be a big day on the recruiting trail for the LSU Tigers.
Five-star edge rusher [autotag]Colin Simmons[/autotag] has already set his commitment date for next Thursday, and now, he’ll be joined by his Duncanville (Tex.) teammate [autotag]Caden Durham[/autotag], who is also set to commit on the 10th.
While the Tigers seem to be facing off against Texas for Simmons, Oklahoma is the primary opponent for Durham. He has Crystal Ball predictions to both schools, though 247Sports has logged a pair of high-confidence Crystal Balls in LSU’s favor over the last few days.
The Tigers are the heavy favorite, according to On3, sitting at more than 95% on the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine.

LSU seems to be in the driver’s set for the top-100 prospect, and given that his teammate, Simmons, is announcing the same day, that would seemingly bode well for the Tigers’ chances of landing both.
