The Baltimore Ravens are hoping that running back J.K. Dobbins will be able to make a major impact on the field for them in 2023. The former Ohio State University star has plenty of untapped potential, but a gruesome knee injury in 2021 has altered what his NFL career has turned into up to this point.
After sitting out all of mandatory minicamp due to still unknown reasons, Dobbins hasn’t practiced during Baltimore’s 2023 training camp so far. While the official reason for his absence still hasn’t been disclosed, Ravens head coach John Harbaugh weighed in on the fourth-year running back’s lack of practice time.
“You know, I don’t know. It’s a fair question, and there is a point in time when it does become a concern, because he knows and … J.K. [Dobbins] and I talked last night. We talk a lot. He wants to be out there, and he needs to be out there, just like any player does. Other than that, there’s nothing else I can really add. I don’t know when he’s going to come back, but I know I’m going to be really happy when he does.”
