The new enhancements will put Rutgers, Middlesex County, and Middlesex County College as the top destination for sports in New Jersey and the northeast region. The new complex will help Rutgers head coach Steve Owens and his coaching staff continue to grow the program by pursuing Big Ten Championships at a state-of-art facility.

The location of this new facility will be in Edison, roughly 15 minutes from the team’s facility on the Livingston campus. The Multipurpose Community Venue will host a select series and home games for the Scarlet Knights. Rutgers baseball will continue to use Bainton Field and its on-campus facilities at Jersey Mike’s Arena, and the new multipurpose facility will not affect future planned upgrades to Bainton Field and on-campus facilities for Rutgers baseball.
