NFL football is ramping up, and we are starting to get everyone’s first impressions of team newcomers. One of the more intriguing teams of 2023 is the Miami Dolphins, with a young and very fast team. They got even faster in the 2023 NFL draft by selecting former Texas A&M running and speedster De’von Achane in the third round.
He will likely see the field somewhat regularly due to his pure speed and ability to catch the ball. He even went through the receiver drills to showcase his versatility. Not only have the media at camp noticed Achane’s explosiveness, but Dolphins starting QB Tua Tagovailoa, also gave some comments through OTAs.
“Achane has been very impressive throughout the first OTAs that we’ve had. I think when you look at the practices that we’ve had, I mean, he’s shown some pretty cool bursts of his speed.”
“His hands. Understanding the plays. He’s done a really good job with that.”
As noted earlier, the onsite media also watches for the former track star.

This is great news out of Miami, and I hope to see Achane being part of some big plays this season.
