The Aggies will play in the 2024 Shriners Children’s College Showdown

Texas A&M will head to Global Life Field in early March to take part in the 2024 Shriners Children’s College Showdown. They will be paired with Arizona State, USC, and TCU during the third weekend of the series with a portion of every ticket being sold to benefit the Shriners Children’s.

This will mark the Aggie’s second trip to the Global Life Field since 2021 when they played UT Arlington, but their first time playing is this particular showcase. The official schedule will be released at a later date, but Texas A&M will only play opponents from the Pac12.

The title sponsor REV Entertainment spoke on why they are proud to be a part of this event:

“Shriners Children’s is a leader in healthcare and the community, and we are proud to partner with them on our premier tournament. Their approach to advancing children’s healthcare is world-class, and their commitment to using sports to spread awareness makes them the ideal partner for REV Entertainment and the Texas Rangers,” said Sean Decker, president of REV Entertainment. “We have another tremendous lineup of the top collegiate baseball teams in the country for the 2024 tournament. These teams and their supportive fans will again create an electric environment at Globe Life Field to kick off the college baseball season.”

Being invited to participate in such events are always as honor and a chance for Aggie athletics to represent the university for a great cause. For Ticket information you can start here and for viewing you will be able to watch on Flo Sports.
