[autotag]Ethan Barbour[/autotag] is one of the top tight ends in the 2025 recruiting class and he has taken the next step in his recruitment. The four-star prospect released his top eight schools on Monday and Auburn made the cut.
The Tigers are battling Alabama, Georgia, Florida State, South Carolina, Ohio State, Texas and USC for the Alpharetta, Georgia product.
Auburn and tight end coach [autotag]Ben Aigamaua[/autotag] extended him an offer to Barbour on Jan. 3 and hosted him on an unofficial visit back on April 7.
He is the No. 157 overall player and No. 4 tight end in the 247Sports Composite ranking. He is also the No. 20 player from Georgia in the 2025 recruiting cycle.
Barbour has played just two seasons of high school football but has already become a go-to option for Alpharetta High School. He caught 51 passes for 714 touchdowns and 12 touchdowns last season.
