Rutgers head coach Steve Owens is adding another arm to his bullpen with the ability to provide a spot start if needed. Carlucci’s best performance last season came against Middlesex, where Columbia High School defeated the Blue Jays 6-0. The 2024 prospect recorded 13 strikeouts and four walks in 6.2 innings pitched, leading to the Cougars’ victory.
Carlucci will join Luke Fithian (RHP), Hunter Hoxie (LHP), Landon Mack (RHP), and Nolan Peel (RHP) among the pitchers for the Scarlet Knights’ 2024 recruiting class, according to Prep Baseball Report.
