In the 1990s, the Chicago Bulls were on top of the world, dominating the NBA for the entire decade. Led by Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen, the Bulls won six championships in eight seasons, which are the only titles in the history of the franchise.
Jordan is widely regarded as the best player in NBA history, and if not, at least one of the best. The shooting guard was an international superstar on and off the court, helping the Bulls earn a world-wide attention in the 1990s and, obviously, backing up his persona with championships on the court.
But Jordan doesn’t just have the respect of NBA fans. He has the respect of players. During a recent chat with BuzzFeed Celeb, Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry placed Jordan in his all-time NBA starting five. (H/t Clutch Points)
“Past or present? NBA players,” Curry said. “I would pick Shaquille O’Neal as my center, Tim Duncan as my power forward, (and) Larry Bird as my small forward. Am I on the team? Michael Jordan as my shooting guard. Late addition, I’m not taking Larry. I’m taking Kobe (Bryant) as my small forward. Jordan at my shooting guard. And Magic (Johnson) at point guard. I won’t be on the team.”

During his time in the NBA, Jordan was a 14-time All-Star, an 11-time All-NBA player, a nine-time All-Defensive player, a five-time MVP and a six-time NBA Finals MVP.
Obviously, Curry is another all-time great, and for him to show love to Jordan is fun to see.
