Despite Draymond Green inking a new contract with the Golden State Warriors and Jordan Poole being traded to the Washington Wizards, questions are still being asked about their incident from last year’s preseason punch.

During an interview with Patrick Beverley on the Pat Bev Podcast with Barstool Sports, Green spoke on the incident with his former teammate from last season. Green spoke about the lead-up to the punch and revealed that the incident wasn’t just an instant reaction.

Although an entire season has passed an the pair of former teammates have gone their separate ways, chatter from the preseason punch has continued to rumble throughout the 2023 offseason.

When the schedule releases for the upcoming season, Poole and the Wizards’ first matchup against Green and the Warriors will be something to circle on your calendar.
