DeAndre Hopkins calls out ‘haters and doubters’ after joining Titans

DeAndre Hopkins is well aware of the “haters and doubters” who criticized his decision to join the Titans.

There has been no shortage of salt, bad takes and haters coming out of the woodwork since news broke that the Tennessee Titans were signing veteran wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins — and Hopkins is taking notes.

Just hours after the NFL world was set on fire with the news that Hopkins has chosen the Titans, he took to Twitter to call out those criticizing his decision to move to Nashville.

“I always loved having haters and doubters but I appreciate it even more now,” he wrote. “Titan up!!”

The criticisms are mostly centered around his decision to catch passes from Ryan Tannehill and getting the biggest bag possible while also turning down teams considered Super Bowl contenders who couldn’t offer as much money.

In addition, there are more people than I can count claiming Hopkins is washed, even though he showed no signs of decline in 2022.

No matter the negative take, Hopkins isn’t having it (H/T @FeedKingHenry on Twitter).

New England Patriots fans are quite salty he didn’t pick their team, also, even though there wasn’t any semblance of a case to make for the Patriots being a better option than the Titans.

But none of that matters now. Hopkins is heading to Tennessee and the Titans now have a much more formidable wide receivers room, and offense in general.

Further, he gives Tennessee a much better chance to compete in 2023, especially when it comes to their prospects in the AFC South.
