If the writing is indeed on the wall, then the Iowa Hawkeyes just might have another name to add to their 2024 class here very quickly.
Sean Bock of Hawkeye Insider issued a 247Sports crystal ball prediction for three-star small forward Caden Diggs to land with Iowa. A 6-foot-7, 180 pound wing, Diggs is out of the Bullis School in Potomac, Md.
The Hawkeyes offered back on May 3 and Diggs hasn’t been bashful since in sharing that Iowa has continued to make an impression on him.
Diggs told 247Sports’ Dushawn London back in June that Iowa and Richmond were the schools he felt were recruiting him the hardest and that he was planning to make a decision before the summer ended.
He also broke down his recruitment with On3’s Jamie Shaw following his June visit to Iowa City.
“The team culture really stood out. Everyone seemed so comfortable with one another, the culture was great. They all ate over at the coach’s house. I got to sit with them, be around them and see how they all interacted. I liked it a lot.
“Our relationship has continued to grow since the visit. They’re real with me. They let me know how I’m playing and what I need to improve on. They like to get up and down. They’re a more offensive-minded team, so if I can come in and bring defensive versatility, then it could be a great fit,” Diggs said with Shaw of his Iowa visit.

The more the summer rolls along, the more it seems like Diggs might be joining four-star forward Cooper Koch in the Hawkeyes’ 2024 class. Per 247Sports, Diggs is the nation’s No. 109 player overall, the No. 24 small forward and the No. 2 player from Maryland.
Meanwhile, On3 ranks Diggs as a four-star talent and as the country’s No. 89 player overall in the 2024 class. He is regarded as the No. 17 power forward and the No. 2 player in Maryland by On3.
Diggs also holds offers from schools such as Oklahoma State, Marquette, Seton Hall, Xavier, Siena, USF, Richmond, George Mason and George Washington.
