The biggest hole for the Brooklyn Nets after free-agency is their lack of shot-creation, according to Zach Buckley of Bleacher Report.

The Brooklyn Nets have been making a lot of moves throughout this offseason to improve the depth of the team across the board. Despite all of the moves that they have made, there are some who still believe that they can get better in certain areas before next seasons begins.

According to Zach Buckley of Bleacher Report, Brooklyn’s biggest are to address after their moves in free-agency is shot-creation. As of now, the Nets have some interesting shot-creators on the team in Spencer Dinwiddie, Mikal Bridges, and Cam Johnson. After that, players like Cam Thomas, Royce O’Neale, and Lonnie Walker IV can also create shots as well.

Unfortunately, Brooklyn does not have a single player who is universally considered a star in the NBA, though some believe that Bridges can be an All-Star next season, so it makes sense why Buckley would come to this determination. More to the point, Brooklyn has been linked to players who are considered elite shot-creators in Damian Lillard and Tyler Herro.

Despite the Nets have some players that are capable of creating shots for themselves and others, it’s worth noting that the numbers do support the offense being a weakness for Brooklyn after the trade deadline. After the trades of Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving, Brooklyn ranked 23rd in the NBA in offensive rating as opposed to sixth in the league in that category.
