The Boston Celtics suffered another loss in Las Vegas Summer League, highlighting the lack of impact players on their roster. That might not be a surprise given the parent club’s roster makeup.
Jordan Walsh showed promise in the first game with his 3-point shooting but struggled in the second game due to a knee contusion and tighter defense being played on him.
Justin Champagnie had a solid performance and stood out in the loss to the Washington Wizards. There is potential for Walsh to earn playing time with the Celtics based on what we saw, but Delano Banton’s status is uncertain due to an undisclosed injury.
