Father of twin recruiting targets calls UNC a great option

Carlos Boozer didn’t rule out the UNC basketball program just yet in the recruitment of his twin sons.

Among the targets Hubert Davis and the UNC basketball program are pursuing are twins Cameron and Cayden Boozer.

The sons of former Duke star Carlos Boozer are both five-star recruits and are being targeted by every major program. While it appears Duke and Miami are the two favorites for the talented recruits, North Carolina continues to pursue and even watched the duo at the Peach Jam earlier in the week.

Following one of the games, the twins talked to John Fanta and Randolph Childress about their recruitment. The topic of North Carolina came up and Cameron reveled their father, Carlos, hasn’t ruled it out despite playing for an arch-rival. He knows UNC is a great school and a great option for the twins:

That’s an interesting comment. But how much stock should we put into that?

The Blue Devils appear to be the favorites and it would be shocking not to see one or both end up there. If they don’t, Miami seems like the next logical option. Still, while UNC’s chances are realistically slim, stranger things have happened.
