Even if Victor Wembanyama had an uneven Summer League debut for the San Antonio Spurs — which included him getting posterized by the Charlotte Hornets’ Kai Jones — there was so much to see.
He dropped dimes. His ball-handling was smooth. And he blocked a whole bunch of shots.
And that last one is something to focus on here. Getty Images photographer Ethan Miller captured a snap of Wembanyama staring into the camera as a basketball heads right at us. Per the caption, it was from a Wemby foul on the Hornets’ Bryce McGowens, but still: This shot is so good.
