Texas A&M has been upgrading several buildings as part of its Centennial Campaign. Part of that campaign is an indoor track stadium that can be used for multiple events. The 12th Man Foundation briefly explains what the new stadium means to Texas A&M Track and Field.
The new Indoor Track Stadium will pair with E.B. Cushing Stadium to give the prestigious Aggie Track & Field program a leg up on the competition. In addition to helping attract some of the nation’s top student-athletes to Aggieland, the facility will provide Texas A&M with the opportunity to host premier events on campus each year.
Texas A&M AD Ross Bjork gave a tour of the facility to show the progress and discuss the thought behind building the stadium.
