PFF simulation has Cardinals going over projected win total

Their simulation has them winning six games, ending up with the second-worst record in the league.

The Arizona Cardinals are not expected to be good in 2023. They have the lowest projected win total for betting purposes in the NFL at 4.5.

But for those optimistic enough to think they could surpass that total and hit the Over, there is good news.

Pro Football Focus simulated the 2023 season with reference to every team’s projected win total and the Cardinals ended up with the second-worst record in the league, ahead of only the Houston Texans.

The Cardinals finish with an average of 6.03 wins, which would not only get you the Over 4.5 but a more profitable Over 5.5 wins.

This is consistent with what my thoughts are for the season.

If Kyler Murray can return at all before midseason, he can lead them to roughly a .500 record after his return, especially with a scrappy defense that will compete and finally jell and give them a chance to win.
