Five-star edge defender [autotag]Elijah Rushing[/autotag] of Salpointe Catholic in Arizona is staying home. The elite 2024 prospect announced Thursday that he’ll play his college football at Arizona.
Rushing visited Notre Dame in June, but the Irish fell short to Arizona and seemed significantly behind Oregon as well.
For Arizona, it’s the program’s first five-star talent in the time 247Sports has been tracking such matters (2000). Rushing is ranked as the eighth overall player in the 2024 class according to the outlet.
