Mo Bamba is heading to the Philadelphia 76ers

Mo Bamba, a 7-footer who the Lakers traded for in February, is going to the City of Brotherly Love.

The Los Angeles Lakers have had a very solid offseason so far. In fact, some in the national media believe like they have knocked the ball out of the park so far in free agency.

They will be keeping Rui Hachimura, Austin Reaves and D’Angelo Russell on new contracts, and they will also be adding guard Gabe Vincent and forwards Taurean Prince and Cam Reddish.

But the center position remains thin. Los Angeles agreed to sign Jaxson Hayes, who is young, energetic and athletic, but he will not be enough to ensure a full rotation at the position.

There had been speculation the team might end up keeping Mo Bamba, whom it acquired in February for Patrick Beverley, but the 7-footer is instead going to sign with the Philadelphia 76ers.

This means the options as far as another 5 are dwindling for the Purple and Gold.
