If you are like me, you absolutely hate these kinds of scenarios that Pro Football Focus presented. The idea of signing a dollar amount to an NFL player and asking fans to build a team or unit based on values seems really rude to the players involved.
Pittsburgh Steelers defensive tackle Cam Heyward agrees. He took great exception to only being valued at $3 on PFF’s latest chart to build the perfect defensive line room.
Heyward took to Twitter and replied to PFFs original tweet and put them on blast for valuing him below Aaron Donald, Chris Jones, Dexter Lawrence and Quinnen Williams.
In 2022, Heyward had 10.5 sacks, the third time in his career topping 10. Heyward continues to beat Father Time and play better and better football even at 34 years old.
In other Steelers slander on the list, PFF had EDGE T.J. Watt valued at $4 with $5 being the top. He was placed behind Browns defensive end Myles Garrett and Cowboys linebacker Micah Parsons.
Love being called a 3 dollar d lineman! Great to know what y’all think my worth. ✌🏾✌🏾✌🏾
